Explosive Exploit: Bomb Squad Arrests Long Island Man Harboring 49 Firework Cases

A Long Island man was in for a shocking surprise when officers arrested him for housing nearly 50 cases of assorted fireworks.

Levittown resident Paul S. Krill, aged 34, was arrested on the afternoon of Monday, June 13 after police say they found dozens of cases containing assorted fireworks in his garage.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 13 at approximately 3:15 p.m. in Levittown, according to the Nassau County Police.

Paul S. Krill, aged 34, was arrested by Arson Bomb Squad detectives at his home after officers located and seized 49 cases of assorted fireworks from his garage.

Krill is charged with:

Unlawful selling of fireworks

Unlawful storage of explosives

Unlawful possession of explosives without licenses and certificates

He is due to appear in First District Court on Wednesday, June 28.
